Bike to Work Month is a great kick off to the summer riding and running season. Our evenings last a bit longer, temps are slowly warming up and we're all eager to head outside.
Summer also means we get a chance to meet many of you in person at local events. We'll have a booth at the following events this summer. Please stop by, chat and check out our latest styles.
June 9 (Sunday)
A fun, family-friendly run along Lake Washington with 5k, 10k and kids run options. Benefits Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
June 20-21, 2013 (Thursday and Friday)
Kaidel Sportswear, Booth #223
Visit Kaidel and over 60 vendors at this free Health & Fitness Expo at CenturyLink Field Event Center held prior to the Seattle Rock n Roll Marathon. Open to the public. Held in same venue as packet pickup for the race.
July 13-14, 2013 (Saturday and Sunday)
Finish Line Festival
At the STP Finish Line Festival in Portland. Cool off first, eat a bit, drink a well-deserved beer, then head over to see our latest jerseys. Open to the public.
Glancing through various event calendars, I see several other fun events for various levels. Here are a few in the coming weeks that caught my eye:
Half-Marathon: If you've decided to pass on the Seattle Rock n Roll Marathon, why not shoot up to Vancouver, BC for the Vancouver Half Marathon on Sunday June 23?
Cycling: How about the Flying Wheels Summery Century on Saturday, June 8th? Starts at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA
Cycle Tour Vacations: If you're realizing Summer 2013 is the perfect time to head out on a cycling vacation that you've failed to plan, looks like Bicycle Adventures has some good options including San Juans, Leavenworth, Hood River, and ultimate ride spots like Bryce/Zion and Hawaii. Tour calendar
Hope everyone gets a chance to start summer off right by participating in one of these fun events or heading out on your own favorite route!
