Collaborating with "Larry Gets Lost in Seattle" illustrator John Skewes

I had the pleasure to collaborate with John Skewes, the illustrator behind the "Larry Gets Lost" children's book series, to create a jersey for our 2012 collection. If you're not familiar with this book, it's a wonderfully colorful and fun children's book about a boy named Pete who loses his pup Larry in Seattle. The search for Larry takes them to many of Seattle's most unique sites. Our family has read this many times and discussed the ferries, Fremont Troll, Lake Union houseboats and Ballard Locks, etc.

Our Seattle "Larry Gets Lost" jersey features illustrations from the book including the Seattle waterfront on the front of the jersey and a Seattle Center scene with the Space Needle and Monorail on the back.

Thanks to John for bringing Larry's whimsical take on Seattle to our jersey lineup!
